We are constantly told to work harder, trust the process, stay consistent, manifest our dreams, or simply let go. But what if success, fulfillment, and personal growth require both effort and surrender? A reflection on perseverance, trust, achievement, and finding our own path.
What is hard what is simple? What is balance ? What is being a woman and artist a mother a daughter 💕 spoiled brat, normal.extraordinary what is real what is felt
As May comes to a close, I reflect on two lessons that kept returning: don’t wait for perfection, and don’t be afraid to tell your story. Between being a mom of three, an artist, observing Shabbat, navigating family spread across continents, and building new projects, this month reminded me that progress, rest, courage, gratitude, and letting go all have their place.
Sometimes life gives you beautiful milestones and emotional exhaustion at the exact same time.
This past season has been filled with difficult realizations, family transitions, moments of pride, moments of doubt, motherhood, fatigue, growth, letting go… and also deep gratitude.
A reflection on what happens when we keep showing up because we must, even while emotionally and physically depleted — and on learning that balance is not only needed after the storm, but before and during it too.
Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers 🤍
As many of you know, making the invisible contributions of women and mothers more visible has always been at the heart of both my art and Unchained Mothering.
Today, if you’d like to support me and my artistic journey, you can also help make my mother’s contribution more visible ✨
I’m currently in 1st place in my group in The People’s Artist presented by Johnny Depp, but the race is incredibly tight and every single vote truly counts.
Voting is free and can be renewed every 24 hours 🙏
Thank you for being part of this journey and for supporting art, mothering, women, and visibility.

I used to feel like I had no control over my time or life.
Learning to say yes to others… and also to myself changed everything.
We all carry full plates.
Between motherhood, work, creation, responsibilities, and the world around us, the list never really ends.
But sometimes the bravest thing we can do is simply pause… and make space to create again.
A week balancing art, family, community, and reflection — from honoring women’s legacy in Coconut Grove to preparing upcoming artist talks at MIFA. As Women’s Month begins, this moment feels like a reminder that art and humanity remain deeply connected.
