Wow! You are Amazing
This week: life in motion, and a moment that matters—
“Wow! You Are Amazing!” was acquired at The Bass Museum of Art by a collector it truly resonated with.
Exactly where it was meant to be.
Simply be yourself, as if, it was possible, at least bite into it!
This week: life in motion, and a moment that matters—
“Wow! You Are Amazing!” was acquired at The Bass Museum of Art by a collector it truly resonated with.
Exactly where it was meant to be.
We all carry full plates.
Between motherhood, work, creation, responsibilities, and the world around us, the list never really ends.
But sometimes the bravest thing we can do is simply pause… and make space to create again.
A week balancing art, family, community, and reflection — from honoring women’s legacy in Coconut Grove to preparing upcoming artist talks at MIFA. As Women’s Month begins, this moment feels like a reminder that art and humanity remain deeply connected.
Self care is good! Pamper yourself and accept to be pampered
From planes to galleries, school runs to solo shows, and Amsterdam to Miami to Las Vegas — a behind-the-scenes glimpse into life in motion. Between art, motherhood, community work, and personal growth, this post celebrates the beautiful chaos, the invisible reality behind creative success, and the courage it takes to trust your path while juggling ambition, family, and heart. 🤍✈️🎨
A week lived at full speed—long days, full responsibility, and the need to pause and recover—unfolds alongside major professional milestones and a world in turmoil. This reflection moves between the intimate and the global, celebrating resilience, faith, and quiet courage, while embracing the idea that growth, like art and life, takes time, care, and patience.
Even in the deepest darkness, light exists. It is up to us to look for it — and to help it grow. Darkness feeds on fear, violence, silence, and cowardice. Light grows through courage, compassion, action, and love. To all of us, let’s find a way today — and from this day forward — to bring more light into the world.
Gratefulness and giving forward are my two reminders of the week
This week left me speechless and grateful. For the first time in years, I stepped back from showing at an art fair to enjoy Miami Art Week from the other side, while still supporting JDR Atelier at Booth 903. We took a much-needed Thanksgiving break in the Bahamas, where the kindness of friends and the reality of life’s unexpected turns reminded me of what truly matters: love, family, resilience, and showing up with grace.
Unchained Mothering continues to grow — from new press features to our upcoming AR experience at the steps of the Art Basel Convention Center. With Giving Tuesday approaching on December 2nd, your support means everything as we honor mothers’ invisible contributions through art.
As Art Basel Week begins and my birthday approaches, I’m choosing gratitude, strength, and togetherness. Wishing everyone a meaningful week — especially all the artists and gallerists working tirelessly right now.
Our first Miami Give 5K was unforgettable: 11 runners, 1 supporter, and a first-place win for our Unchained Mothering Ambassador. This powerful moment opens our call to support the work we do all year to make mothers and their invisible contributions seen.
