Open Your Eyes, Your Heart, Your Hands

Open Your Eyes, Your Heart, Your Hands #bitachon #emunah #simhah #fullcirclemoment

Sometimes, in your head, you believe you are able to do something—but then your body doesn’t follow. It is simply not ready.

I experienced that almost a year ago. I could see myself running the Give Miami 5K fast, but my legs and body were not at all ready to move as fast as my mind was. So I started working, little by little, toward getting myself into better shape. I hope to do better this coming November 15 at the Give Miami 5K for Unchained Mothering.

And this applies to so many things in life.

These past two weeks were about finally completing what I had carried in my head for months—ideas that had been keeping me frustrated while I waited until I was able to make them happen.

Then I realized that sometimes you follow what your heart tells you to do without even knowing that you are preparing for tomorrow’s needs.

That is when bitachon and emunah come in: trust that H, up there, has it all planned out.

And remind yourself that you are often the only one limiting yourself, because in fact, you are meant to go as far as you want.

It is so common to limit ourselves. There is the fear of failure. There is everyday life, which tires us and sends us astray. But what is meant for you will come when your heart and soul are open.

This week, I cared for my children and my dog while my husband was traveling for work. I worked so much that I barely slept—only four to six hours each night. I was submitting a grant for Unchained Mothering, and I had to push myself to do things outside my comfort zone, including asking people to write recommendation letters for me. Reading their words brought tears to my eyes.

This weekend, I honored our volunteers for the Juniorettes and Director and advisors of GFWV by hosting a dinner at home, and I spent time with the Juniorettes. I am so proud of them!

And tonight, Ishay Ribo—with my husband, our daughter, and one of her friends. I have waited so long to see him and hear him perform with the Israel Philharmonic.

Open your eyes, your heart, and your hands. Allow yourself to receive. That is what I am doing tonight.

And, of course, give back. It is a full circle that makes the world better.

Thank you for the gift of life!

With love and light

And yes he said in between songs and right after I finished writing my post! Yes I wrote this one from the concert ! Very appropriate as I often listen to his songs while I create my art or work! ( hope I do not make too many mistakes writing so I ll write in Hebrew and translate in English)  כל הטובה. שיהיהו איתי זמן אחרון ככה מכל הלב. מי שבאמת כל כולו רצוף אהבה אלינו ברחמים וחסדים גדולים.

It’s all about love, life, and the pursuit of happiness. I’m a French-American woman from Paris — born with a suitcase in hand and a heart open to adventure. I’ve always been drawn to the vibrant energy of New York and Miami, visiting every year for a few weeks to recharge on their rhythm, sunshine, and sense of freedom. Who would have thought that life would take me to Luxembourg — where I would find, lose, and find myself again? There, I met the love of my life, built a family with three wonderful children, and traveled… endlessly. (Let’s not forget our loyal dog Rocky, who became part of our journey in 2013, and passed in 2025 and our second furry companion Ruby who joined us in 2022!) From Paris to New York, Luxembourg to Miami — traveling has become our middle name. What I love most is discovering the poetry and energy of life wherever I go: architecture, people, customs, places, and the unique atmosphere that makes each encounter unforgettable. Life is a story of movement, emotion, and discovery. Let’s keep exploring, dreaming, and savoring every moment. PS: All content on this blog is shared with pleasure — but it is not free of rights.
