Be the voice for those in need
When your voice is needed speak up
Simply be yourself, as if, it was possible, at least bite into it!
When your voice is needed speak up
A personal update on recovery, family time, and returning to “normal,” woven with reflections on global change, creative milestones, and small moments of gratitude. A reminder that life doesn’t pause — but sometimes invites us to breathe.
Last Sunday of the year.
While my IG reached almost half a million views in the past 90 days, it’s here, on the blog, that I slow down and say what doesn’t fit in a caption. This space asks a bit more effort — and I believe effort deserves something extra. So if you’re here, this one is for you 🥰
In a time shaped by censorship, fear, and repression, Cervantes chose to defend imagination, dignity, and the right to dream. Today — and always — allowing oneself to live the impossible dream is an act of bravery, a way of seeing the best in humanity, and something we can all choose to do.
Even in the deepest darkness, light exists. It is up to us to look for it — and to help it grow. Darkness feeds on fear, violence, silence, and cowardice. Light grows through courage, compassion, action, and love. To all of us, let’s find a way today — and from this day forward — to bring more light into the world.
Gratefulness and giving forward are my two reminders of the week
This week left me speechless and grateful. For the first time in years, I stepped back from showing at an art fair to enjoy Miami Art Week from the other side, while still supporting JDR Atelier at Booth 903. We took a much-needed Thanksgiving break in the Bahamas, where the kindness of friends and the reality of life’s unexpected turns reminded me of what truly matters: love, family, resilience, and showing up with grace.
Unchained Mothering continues to grow — from new press features to our upcoming AR experience at the steps of the Art Basel Convention Center. With Giving Tuesday approaching on December 2nd, your support means everything as we honor mothers’ invisible contributions through art.
As Art Basel Week begins and my birthday approaches, I’m choosing gratitude, strength, and togetherness. Wishing everyone a meaningful week — especially all the artists and gallerists working tirelessly right now.
A whirlwind across Cali, Nevada, Give Miami Week, a surprise school switch, and a heart full of gratitude.
Conclusion? People make everything possible.
Life moves fast — but love, intention, and community keep us steady.
More soon… Basel is calling. 💛
Our first Miami Give 5K was unforgettable: 11 runners, 1 supporter, and a first-place win for our Unchained Mothering Ambassador. This powerful moment opens our call to support the work we do all year to make mothers and their invisible contributions seen.
Stop doubting yourself and hesitating. Trust that life guides you through even its imperfections — be kind, be grateful, and dare to do what your heart truly wishes.
