Milestones in the Midst of Chaos: A Sunday of Reflection and Perspective
Amid chaos, love and perspective lead the way — and this week, 3 milestones: my husband ran the Berlin Marathon and completed the 6 majors, an article was published and my work Keep on Dancing enters the Coral Gables Museum’s permanent collection.
Shana Tova Oumetouka Year 5786
As we step into 5786 — a reminder that even in dark times, we are not victims but creators of light. Like Sarah’s laughter and Isaac’s name, we carry the power to shift perspective, to act step by step, and to transform pain into hope. Teshuva is about who we choose to become, and miracles await when we open ourselves to them.

Eighteen and Everything in Between — Happy Birthday, My Jaimie
Happy 18th, ma fille.
As women, we must carve out space for our dreams, ambitions, and goals — while still giving our all to those we love.
This year, I had to learn to let go… while also showing you that I would drop anything to be there. Choices were made, sometimes hard ones — but always with love.
Happy birthday — I can’t wait to celebrate you in person. Je t’aime always 🪬

These Past 7 Days: From Shelters to Skylines, Plenitude and the Invisible Thread of Time By Jessica de Vreeze
happy 4th of July, celebrate and protect Freedom. As we grapple with the rising antisemitism and defend our values, I reflect on the importance of honoring those lost and the ongoing efforts to rescue the remaining hostages. Despite the darkness, we must continue to uplift our voices and create art that embodies hope and resilience.
Embracing Resilience and Courage & Call to action
Amidst the vibe of Ultra Miami, standing with Joep from Breda, we absorbed Armin van Buuren’s uplifting message: “We need more love. We are one.” Joep’s voice echoed: “Think about the solution, not the problem.” In that moment, I felt a surge of resilience and courage, dedicated to bringing back the hostages of the Nova Festival. Let’s carry their spirit forward with love and light.
