So much to share with you, where should I begin!
Gratefulness and giving forward are my two reminders of the week
Simply be yourself, as if, it was possible, at least bite into it!
Gratefulness and giving forward are my two reminders of the week
This week left me speechless and grateful. For the first time in years, I stepped back from showing at an art fair to enjoy Miami Art Week from the other side, while still supporting JDR Atelier at Booth 903. We took a much-needed Thanksgiving break in the Bahamas, where the kindness of friends and the reality of life’s unexpected turns reminded me of what truly matters: love, family, resilience, and showing up with grace.
Unchained Mothering continues to grow — from new press features to our upcoming AR experience at the steps of the Art Basel Convention Center. With Giving Tuesday approaching on December 2nd, your support means everything as we honor mothers’ invisible contributions through art.
As Art Basel Week begins and my birthday approaches, I’m choosing gratitude, strength, and togetherness. Wishing everyone a meaningful week — especially all the artists and gallerists working tirelessly right now.
A whirlwind across Cali, Nevada, Give Miami Week, a surprise school switch, and a heart full of gratitude.
Conclusion? People make everything possible.
Life moves fast — but love, intention, and community keep us steady.
More soon… Basel is calling. 💛
Our first Miami Give 5K was unforgettable: 11 runners, 1 supporter, and a first-place win for our Unchained Mothering Ambassador. This powerful moment opens our call to support the work we do all year to make mothers and their invisible contributions seen.
Stop doubting yourself and hesitating. Trust that life guides you through even its imperfections — be kind, be grateful, and dare to do what your heart truly wishes.
Amid chaos, love and perspective lead the way — and this week, 3 milestones: my husband ran the Berlin Marathon and completed the 6 majors, an article was published and my work Keep on Dancing enters the Coral Gables Museum’s permanent collection.
As we step into 5786 — a reminder that even in dark times, we are not victims but creators of light. Like Sarah’s laughter and Isaac’s name, we carry the power to shift perspective, to act step by step, and to transform pain into hope. Teshuva is about who we choose to become, and miracles await when we open ourselves to them.
Life has a way of repeating the same lesson until we finally slow down and listen. ✨
These past weeks reminded me: even in a world full of heaviness, we can’t let darkness steal our light. Let go of what’s non-essential, give yourself grace, and hold on to the joy that keeps us moving forward.
With love,
Jess 🌸
These past weeks flew by—ten precious days gliding with my family before September’s whirlwind begins. Between kids leaving for college, Rocky turning 12, and me learning to balance stillness with a tornado-paced life, I’ve been reorganizing, reading, and finding small anchors of joy. One of them: I’ve just restocked my Etsy shop 🌿 My tote bag “Regain Pleasure” has traveled everywhere with me for over a year and a half—I love it 🥰 Order yours, or explore made to bring a touch of inspiration into everyday life.
