This past weekend we joined family to celebrate my husband birthday.
It always such a great idea to join family, living abroad we never see them enough. Nephews and niece are growing and any chances to be with them should not be missed !
Having a dutch husband being in his “homeland” was even better, eating frikandel, hagel sla, pannekoeke, croquette, bitter ballen and speaking his own language for a change.
Curaçao is a great surprise, simple and charming. People have a good heart and water is everywhere.

What is you next family travel, or just adventure, we all have family, by blood or heart, keep love in your heart and spend time with the one you love. There is always a way and it’s worth it.
Ps: perfect for all ages, and stages of life I would say.
