These past days marking the end of the 6th week of confinement for us, and many of you, were a little more nerve racking.
It s hard to keep all in order, harmony in the house, work in motion, link with all we care about and all…
Then I was thinking of the joy we have when we meet and see someone we care for the hugs the kisses and all those simple things that are not so simple anymore.
And yet humanity has known far worst and over the years we have not lost them…. and one day the pandemic will be over and I am longing to find them back, cause in each culture we have our ways to greet eachother and we shall keep doing it once all of this madness has passed. Once its “safe” for us all.
I though some people must have though about sharing how they greet one another in other culture : here s a link.

We in France give 2 kisses on the cheeks in Paris, to be more exact. Some other regions it s 3 or 4. And it for all gender alike. In France its normal for male friends to greet eachother that way.
In the US one kiss on the cheek or a hug. In Holland it depends, often 2 or 3 kisses. or I don’t know I m getting lost in my counts lol, and this is fun. In American’s family they also often do a smack ( a kiss on the lips between parents and children, not in France or Europe to my knowledge).
If it s business related usually a hand shake in all culture.
I wonder how it all started and why it s so different from one to another culture.
On that note : wishing you a good weekend.
