Ok Let’s go over last week, fast rewind and play.
It started very strong Monday / Tuesday lot of work done, organizing ourselves at home, putting in place the homeschooling for the kids.
Wednesday started to, oups we kind of let it go a bit with the organisation, the work and the minimum for the homeschooling, but big cleaning of the house and start of the sports work out with Epic online… 20 mn is better than none and it does make a difference.
The do : we did not kill each other, we are healthy, we spent a lot ( too much) time on the phone with people we love.
The don’t : too much screen time, TV ( I gave up screaming on the kids by Thursday), Phones and computer. Wether it was for work, for fun or communication… too much.
The food : well having a kind of structure in mind pinned on the fridge was helpful. But let’s not kid ourselves, we did not do half of the menu I had prepared. Like Tuesday I cooked too much and for 4 meals… anyway… it s kind of all new… we need to adjust to this new “stay at home life”. It still kind of helped. And gave comfort, also once again we are not good at “snacks”) also need to replace our oven ( someone left plastic in it and it melted some weeks ago ….I would not recommend that to anyone, despite all my efforts it still smells too much to use the oven) so … backing is a little tricky.

Anyhow the word Grateful is the first that comes in mind. We are not perfect, and things are not perfect but it’s good. Grateful is the key word. With let’s put things in perspective. Think about the things you can do, rather than the one you can’t.
Wishing you all to be safe and healthy,
Love xoxo

PS : this week for us is spring break at home, and 2 “at home” working parents”…. let see how it goes.
