It’s surreal.
Every single J@wish person I follow has posted about the h@ostages.
How could we not?
And yet… from everyone else?
Silence.
I scroll through stories—clothes, food, furniture—
but not a word.
I keep hearing:
“Don’t post about this. It’ll hurt your art. Your visibility. Your sales.”
But this isn’t political.
It’s human.
The world feels so heavy—
Ukraine.
Women’s rights under attack.
A massacre in a church in Congo.
And now this.
We need the darkness to end.
We need the h@ostages to come home. Now.
I will keep sharing my art.
But I can’t ignore what’s happening.
This is not a moment to look away.
The challenge is to hold both:
To keep creating,
while speaking up.
To show beauty,
without hiding the pain.
Because silence is a choice too.
And I choose not to be silent.
Some post I shared on my IG of courageous people :
Praying and hoping for this week to bring us better news.
