Les supporters! The cheerleaders ( girls and boy)!
My 2 very good friends, Owl (Luxembourg) and Bruky (London), and my 3 children (3/6/9 years old) The aim: support Mr. Hopeje!
Training: yes you need a training, we crossed Luxembourg’s town from the train station to the Limpertsberg in 30 minutes a record, considering I was carrying my almost 4 years old during 80% of the way, and Owl and Burky were holding the girls tight!
Why did we do that ? Because we did not wan t to miss Mr. Hopeje, and all shuttle were full booked!
Some key points: attached an ID bracelets to the kids’ arms, with name and phone number and for more safety write number on their arm. Take a snack water and on exchange pants in case! Assign one child per adults to split responsibilities, and enhance security!
Than energy! Use your voice, your arms, all your energy to cheer the runners!
Wether they are team running 10km, semi-marathon 21km, or full marathon 42km! Wouah bravo to all of them!
Owl:
Cec:
We managed to get on a shuttle to reach the finish on time in the Lux expo on the Kirchberg.
The first runner to pass the 10km in less than 30 mn:
Enjoy the nice participants:
Great atmosphere!
We did not Forget the participant of the Boston Marathon! It should never Had happened nor happen again!
